Tetractys is a triangular representation of the 3x3 square grid described in Revelation 21:16 and a more detailed structure of each of the eight Bagua trigrams. It is base 10 conveyed by a base 8 vessel.
The three sides of the equilateral triangle are the three digits in 3 bits. And the eight trigrams are eight equilateral triangles. The hexagram called Bagua is eight tetractys triangles arranged into an octagon.
The ten points in the Tetractys are in reality the ten digits in the decimal numerical system, hence the reason the Tetractys is also called decad.
Decad = ten
Tetractys is a triangular arrangement of the ten decimals digits. It is the ten decimals summed into a triangle. The Decimal numbers are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.
Tetractys = Sum of ten decimals
= 0+1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9
= 45
The perfect square, the 3x3 square grid, described in Revelation 21:16, is 45. The nine small squares are numbered 1 to 9.
Therefore, the nine small squares are numerically 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9.
Square = 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+8
= 45 (tetractys)
Consequently,
Triangle (tetractys) = 45 (square)
As tetractys is the triangular structure of the square so the hexagram is of the cube.
Hexagram (two triangles) = Yin and Yang
= 69
= 6 and 9
= 6x9
= 54 (cube)
Jasper, the stone in Revelation 21:11, is 69 (Yin and Yang).

Tetractys was the holy of holies in Pythagoreanism, since it is the cube Solomon constructed in the first temple and the stone Zerubbabel placed in the second temple.
