The ten digits of the decimal numerical system are organized into two intersecting hexagons placed on a stand to form the "Kabbalistic tree of life."
In Kabbalah, each number is called a Sefirah while two or more numbers are called Sefirot. Which is why the ten decimal numbers are called the ten sefirot
The ten sefirot, their meaning and their corresponding numbers are:
1 Keter
2 Chokhmah
3 Binah
4 Chesed
5 Gevurah
6 Tiferet
7 Netzach
8 Hod
9 Yesod
0 Malkuth
Rather than say 3, they say Bimah. So the ten sefirot are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
Malkuth is separate from the intersecting hexagons to demonstrate it is the seed where the shoot and root came from. The bottom hexagon is the root while the top is the shoot.
It's important to state clearly that there is only one cube. The two Hexagrams are a single cube placed in front of a mirror.
Malkuth is zero, because the tree ceases to exist the moment it germinates and grows to a tree.
Malkuth = 0
Keter is 1, and from Chokhmah to Yesod is the numbers 2 to 9.
Without Malkuth the tree towers from 9 to 1 such that 9 is the tip of the tap root and 1 is the top of the shoot. Which explains why Yesod (9) is called the foundation and keter (1) is the crown.
The two cubes are a house and its foundation. The top cube is the house and the bottom cube is the foundation of the house.
The twelve edges of the bottom cube are the twelve tribes of Israel, while the twelve edges of the top cube are the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Which means the tree towers from the time of the twelve tribes of Israel to the time of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
