The Anointed One

In the year 2014, during  Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria (CCRN) Benin  Provincial/Regional Convention in Ugbighoko CCRN Centre, a man received from the officiating Reverend Father the anointing of,

1. International Figure

2. Divine Ministration

3. Divine Wealth and

4. Fresh Anointing

In quest of clarity about the anointing, he travelled to St. William Catholic Church  Orerokpe where the Reverend Father gave him a written prayer and presented him to the Blessed Sacrament. It turns out that neither the Reverend Father nor anyone involved in the process knew what was happening. The man returned home without solution to the confusion and crisis revolving around him. Then, God said, "The anointing received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things" - 1 John 2:27 (NIV).

The Reverend Father neither knew the man who received the anointing nor had physical contact with him during the period of the anointing. He simply pronounced the title of the anointing, shouted receive it, and blew air into the microphone. And the energy flowed into the man's body like an electric current. Earlier in the morning of the same day, during morning devotion, an overwhelming power that seemed like hot air poured down from above and flowed from his head down to all parts of his body.

Christ's Spirit was transferred in the form of sound waves flowing from the Reverend Father to the man. Good News Translation of the Bible explained it as, "Christ has poured out his Spirit on you. As long as his Spirit remains in you, you do not need anyone to teach you. For his Spirit teaches you about everything." - 1 John 2:27 (GNT). God speaks in silence, and the man had to observe the things happening around him, subject them to rational scrutiny, and solve the mysteries surrounding them. For instance, no one told him to commence cracking Ifa codes. Babalawos and other diviners swarmed his social media account brandishing bags of money while promising to make him rich and wealthy, and that was how he became curious about the source of their powers. He eventually broke into their stronghold and dismantled the illusions called spirits and deities.

On the day of the anointing, while in agony due to the overwhelming of the Holy Spirit flowing into his body, people held his hands hoping to share in the anointing. Little did they know that he would suffer and descend into a rabbit hole of mysticism and will remain there for twelve years.

Divine ministration and divine wealth were the clues to unraveling his mission.  While impoverished, homeless, hungry and rejected, diviners from the Yoruba-speaking region of Nigeria where all over his cell phone calling to invite him to their shrines even though he never consulted them. And this prompted him to delve into Ifa, and after breaking the Ifa codes he went forth to smash to pieces all forms of geomantic and divination codes, thus fulfilling the scripture which says, "You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery." - Psalm 2:9 (NIV).

On the day of the anointing, one of the officiating ministers said "let us pray against Boko Haram," and suddenly, an angry and violent spirit entered one man and confronted the preacher shouting "I must rule." That was how the anointed one knew he is anointed to tackle islamic terrorists and extremists by solving the mystery of God. Violence, wars, destructions, and wickedness in the name of God are contrary to God. Although God is peace, love and harmony, humans are governed by the contradiction whenever there is a barrier or obstacle between people and God. The mysteries surrounding God transformed love to hate and harmony to chaos.
